This is one of my favorite place to go when I want to immerge myself into family and femminine cooking energy. Amazing food made by Paola Colucci and curated but her daughters, Alice & Flaminia, and her business partner Chiara Magliocchetti. Very small and cozy, I suggest to go early on lunch or dinner time so you may find a table to seat.
The products are mostly sourced from regional specialties carefully selected. The bread is done in the house with organic flour from Iaquone. The mozzarella comes from Andria, while the buffalo mozzarella is from La Baronia. Pianostrada has an open kitchen and a long table to sit in front of it, plus four little tables. You can also order and eat while walking through the narrow streets of Trastevere. You have to try this. Buonissimo!
